Community Work
Jayshree is the co-founder of Over the Walls Together and has been involved in many community upliftment projects. From feeding the less fortunate in informal settlements within Durban to empowering the youth of South Africa through workshops and music creation. Some of the main elements of the Over the Walls Foundation is the fight against Gender Based Violence, Youth Empowerment, Female Empowerment and Health Crisis awareness and education in areas such as HIV/AIDS and Menstruation.
Growing SA's Musical Talent
Jayshree has been involved in actively changing the way we interact with South African music.

In 2021 she has partnered with a Global Musical Platform – Make Music Day. This partnership bring that first musical platform of its kind to South Africa, making sure that SA talent has a place in the growing Global music market. She has also partnered with many musical geniuses of South Africa to create inspiring music and promote local talent.
Women's Day 2022
International renowned artist, Ramona Pintea collaborates with women of influence and women empowerment Hotel Zena in Washington DC for the launch of the #WearYourCrown♥ Global Campaign – and we’re delighted to announce that Durban’s well known Mystic Sisters and co-founder of NGO Over The Walls Together Jayshree Mallaya has been selected as a woman of influence and will be joining nine incredible women from around the world on 8 March 2021.
